About Carvoeiro

Carvoeiro is a lively fishing village which has become popular during recent years, but still retains its local charm. The fishing boats come and go and fresh fish and locally produced fruit and vegetables can be purchased from the market.

There are eight lovely sandy beaches for swimming or lazing in the sun around Carvoeiro, and other beautiful unspoilt beaches such as Benagil and Marinha are also closeby. There are ample shops, a pharmacy, banks, doctors clinic, butchers, bakers and newsagent, everything you are likely to need, and good restaurants abound, for all tastes and pockets and plenty of friendly bars.

Carvoeiro is just 45 minutes from Faro Airport.
